Character Ref' - Nova (older)

Damn', the older one was so... old, I had to change it ! I'll try to get used to references sheet like that, that's more neat, and more enjoyable.

There's something I really like in this character ; she's probably one of the most mature, and at the same time, one of the most random I made. Supposed to be secondary, but I'm thinking more and more about writing some short stories about all these "secondary" characters I have. You don't have idea, I just post 1/10th of what I actually draw...

You know how each characters you create tend to represent a small part of you ? I realized recently there's something incredibly sad and powerful attached to this character. Maybe I'll speak about that kind of stuff one day

Full Name : Serenah Nova, generally simply called Nova
Race : Hybrid, half Haex, half Falen
Affiliation : Oxygene Corps. Assault section Commander (high rank officer, think about police status)

Background story : Nova had a very chaotic childhood, having been violently separated from her parents and nearly killed by a Nexus squad. At the time, she wasn't really able to control her weird powers, living as a savage beast amongst the rubbles of Purgatory, the lowest class district of Domina.
It didn't took a lot of time before she ran in a lot of trouble, her nervous temper causing mayhem and destruction around her. She has been noticed and abducted by Oxygene - causing a considerable amount of damage inside the corporation - and somehow "tamed" using a technomantic device sticked around her neck (the metallic collar she wears). The machine is a remote control pain inducting device, with an explosive charge on the trachea - I just let you imagine what could happens if it is primed. That's the way Oxygene works with their most dangerous members : you accept to live as a slave, or you just die trying to escape...
Starting as one of the many corporates soldiers of Oxygene, she got ahead and is now one of the most important officer of Oxygene security troops. Her strange cold temper makes her good at taking cold-blooded decisions, and she proved to be a skilled tactician when situations needed it - and an overpowered destruction device when situations needed it too.

Temper : Nova tries to keep cool in every situations, cause if she doesn't, well... As it looks like she definitely fit in the ranks of Oxygene Corp. it's no secret she hates them all : she obey every direct orders she takes from the corporation, and leads her troops with skill and wisdom, but she often finds a way to piss off her forced allies.
She never express emotions and tries to be the least pleasant if possible. Actually, her company is so disagreeable that she has no known friends or partner.

Capacities/Flaws : Her weird mix of a Falen heritage and a Haex one gave her the ability of transforming into a huge beats, crackling with electricity, when angered. As this is nearly impossible to control, she tries to avoid this as much as she can.
- She masters Electromancy at an average level, her specialty being in using destructive electric bolts. Very subtle.
- She never uses weapons, not that she needs to. She's a good close combat fighter, but if against someone better than her, she lets her beast form taking control.
- She a good tactician, and a skilled leader. Even if she's cold and ill-tempered, she generally tries to avoid casualty for her troops. she's pretty well appreciated by her subordinates thanks to that.
- sShe's an hybrid, and that particularly sucks : apart from being cast-off by the two races she belongs to, her crazy DNA makes it difficult for doctors and alchemist to find remedies that works on her. She badly masters the two races main abilities (she does not have animal traits of Haexes, like claws and fangs, and she's not specially linked to technology like Falen do)
